For FHI users

The GNZ is a service facility which, in addition to the IT infrastructure for the GNZ network of all Max Planck institutions in Berlin and Brandenburg, also offers local IT infrastructure within the FHI.
This includes Internet access, local network infrastructure, network access, poster printing, servers for data backup, storage and synchronization as well as a limited range of IT accessories, cables and adapters.

Additional IT support (servers, end devices, operating systems, e-mail, user administration, etc.) is provided at the FHI by the PP&B department.
